Oscar winner Denzel Washington and Hollywood hunk Ryan Reynolds will be starring in a new movie together. The film, entitled ‘Safe House’, features Washington as a former CIA agent who has gone rogue for some reason. He’s being held at a safe house that is being infiltrated by the bad guys. Reynolds is tasked with moving the rogue agent to another location.

From the trailer, which was released this week, it appears that Washington will be playing his usual villain who’s really a good guy part and Reynolds will have his shirt of at least part of the time. It’s unclear whether or not there will be any self deprecating humor coming from Reynolds.

This is the first time that Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington have worked together.

‘Safe House’ was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa and will be released in February of 2012 – presumably for some Oscar buzz since Washington is involved.
